I would like to tell you why this website is a gift to me. 

• It verifies a large part of my life, long before spouses and children and grandchildren, it helps to tell my story.
• Together, with the contributing memory of many, I am able to piece together my childhood, my neighborhood, my town, my friends, my past, my roots.
• When times are bad, I can go back to this site and remember better times.
• It represents my beginning and I love reading about who we have become from a fairly humble background - I think we truly represent middle America and the heart of this nation.
• All of you inspire me to do even better, even now, toward the latter part of my life, to share our stories with our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
