I would like to tell you why this website is a gift
to me.

It verifies a large part of
my life, long before spouses
and children and
grandchildren, it helps to
tell my story.

Together, with the
contributing memory of
many, I am able to piece
together my childhood, my
neighborhood, my town, my
friends, my past, my roots.

When times are bad, I can go
back to this site and
remember better times.

It represents my beginning
and I love reading about who
we have become from a fairly
humble background - I think
we truly represent middle
America and the heart of
this nation.

All of you inspire me to do
even better, even now,
toward the latter part of my
life, to share our stories
with our children and
grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
