Last
summer in Japan.
We are in front of the Imperial
Palace. We had the most wonderful
trip, the people were so friendly to
us. We went to Toyko, Kobi,
Yokohama,Osaka, Yamanashi, Isawa,
Ryoanji Temple, Asakusa and Koyto.
We took a 10 hour road trip thru the
countyside and it was beautiful. We
rode the Bullet Train at 180 miles
an hour!! What a thrill. The
wedding (of their foreign
exchange student) was
beautiful. The mothers were dressed
in Kimonos.

Here we are in Bullet Train Station
in front of the pie shop.
Pies $30 a pie or $10 a slice!! We
had a slice it was wonderful.

Our
beds at Grandpa's house(Mizue's
grandparents) and Mizue's 15 year
old niece.

She
is in her high school uniform, isn't
she cute?? She goes to cram school
at night after school all day. She
is sometimes there until 2:00 at
night, then her Mother brings her
home to do it all again the next
day. They live with Mizue's
grandparents, Auntie does all the
cooking, cleaning, shopping just as
the Japanese have always done.
This
is the first machine that Grandpa
used to start his injected plastic
mold business. He make parts for
Toyota and Nissan cars. If you have
a Toyota, the oil cap is made at
Grandpa's . He and his son made
this machine 20 years ago and the
rest is history.

Country
side near Yamanashi. The monkey's
live here.

The
wedding dress.

After
the wedding with Grandpa &
Grandma. They were sooo good to
us.
If we said we liked something, we
had it! So we had to be careful
what we said.
The after the wedding dress!
