Comments from the Class of '63 from their 45th reunion in 2008

"Saturday was a “free” day for everyone to do as they pleased, but 25 or so classmates visited the “new” Springfield High School and were impressed with the facility…although the outside looks somewhat unkempt and “prisonish.”  Chris Reiersgaard, the youthful principal at SHS was our guide.  Boy…what a bundle of energy he is, with athleticism and enthusiasm that make you tired just watching him.  Chris and Earl McElhany will put together a separate photo album showing the details of the school.  The wonderful murals, paintings and stained glass windows all done by student artists, delighted us."
