The following articles about the Springfield Eugene area were written by Nancy Myrick Gill with the help of Christina Peterson, members of the Class of '63, and others that will be noted in the articles.  Some are Register Guard articles, as well as, articles from other newspapers across the state, and in some cases personal remarks have been included from other members of the Class of '63 and '61.

Nancy wrote these articles to encourage her classmate to attend their 45th reunion.  She has sent them to me, Dorothy Naylor, and allowed me to forward them to you the Class of '61.  I feel that they are worthy of being permanently on our website and Nancy has given me permission to include them.

I sincerely believe you will enjoy reading them again.
